Our Philosophy

Our motto says it all: for a lifetime of safe driving.

The Driving School and all its sister companies have one simple goal and philosophy: to produce the safest, smartest, and most responsible drivers that we possibly can. Drivers must be alert and considerate every time they get behind the wheel.

To this end, we emphasize defensive driving, driver safety and responsibility. The Driving School provides ten hours of driving time with a highly-trained instructor, and 30 hours of classroom instruction. For most of our students, learning to drive is the first major step to independence, and for their sake we make the driver education experience all it can be.

But The Driving School doesn't stop there. We're a state-sanctioned provider of many driving-related services. We offer vocational rehabilitation for people whose licenses have been suspended due to injury. We provide much-needed driving time to foster kids who would have a hard time meeting the state's driving requirements otherwise. We're a socially-minded company, and we know that every bit of effort we put into the community is well-spent.

We are proud of our company and of the services we provide. This pride is apparent in the quality of education our students receive. We take the time to discuss the material thoroughly with our students, both in the car and in the classroom, and this extra effort always pays off. That's why we don't have to attack the competition; our quality speaks for itself.

Each one of our classroom instructors are passionate about teaching the driver education curriculum clearly, while being mindful of each student's needs. We know that everyone learns differently, and that in order to reach our students individually, we must teach each key point through visual, auditory, or tactile means.

In order to get the most from our program, we encourage our students to participate in class, and to ask questions whenever they need to. We also encourage parents to be responsive to any questions their child may have. Please, do discuss what they’re learning in class— you can even attend class with them if you like! Tell your student about your own driving experiences, and please: do talk to our instructors if you have any questions.
