Our
Winter Weather Cancellation Policy for Class
Since
our driving schools are scattered throughout Southern Maine, we determine
whether to cancel class on a town-by-town basis. If we do cancel a class,
we'll notify
local television stations.
Our
Winter Weather Cancellation Policy for Driving Times
Each instructor decides
whether to cancel their scheduled driving.
If the instructor determines
it is unsafe to drive, the students will be notified. We think it's important
for students to learn how to handle light weather conditions— we live in Maine,
after all— so we tend to drive
in light snow, but not in ice or sleet.
To Cancel a
Scheduled Driving Time
If you cannot keep your scheduled driving time, you must notify The Driving
School office at (207) 892 8851 no less than 24 hours in advance. It's
critical to our business that students keep their appointments, so if no
notice is given, there is a $50 missed-appointment fee. Please be very
mindful when you schedule your driving times.
