CLASS RULES AND FIRST DAY REQUIREMENTS Bring To Class
What should I bring to my first class?
- an original birth certificate or passport
(hospital souvenir birth certificates are not valid and do not contain an official seal)
- please bring two copies of the birth certificate
(black & white copies are acceptable) - social security number
(your teen will not need their social security card, however if they make an error when providing the number this could potentially cause delays in processing their permit) - payment method
(if the class has been paid for already or if you have made prior payment plan arrangements, the instructor will be notified of this ahead of time) - glasses or contacts if needed

Is there any class etiquette I should be aware of ahead of time?
At Mullen's Driving School we believe that learning to drive is one of the bigger steps a teen can make towards adulthood. Students will be treated as such in class and in the vehicles. In return, the students are expected to treat all of the instructors and fellow classmates with respect. There are a few rules that you may want to be aware of ahead of time. Some of the following rules are intended to make the classroom atmosphere as welcoming and comfortable as possible for all and other rules have been created with your safety in mind. Each instructor may have a slightly unique approach and vision of a cohesive classroom atmosphere, however each student can expect reasonble rules intended to make their experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Classroom participation is strongly encouraged and learning to drive is a hands on experience so attentiveness is key. Further class guidlines can be found on our FAQ page.
